What does World So Cold mean?
I'm just wondering what does World So Cold mean? It's an awesome song and one of my favourite but I don't quite get the meaning of the song though... Can somebody please briefly explain it to me? Thank you~

I agree. It's about losing someone you were close to. Someone you loved. You feel lost, like you're now blind without them. Sorta like you lose them forever...through death. It's a good song, and it's really powerful. It's one of my favorites from the album, too.
its when something or someone that was a huge part of your life suddenly leaves and you feel like everything around you is cold or dark, that there is no light left in the world and nothing will ever make you feel like yourself again

from what i got about it is that something was going on in his life or someone close to him in his life, was going through something that was putting someone into a depression, its kinda like poetry, gotta let the lines flow
maybe someone went through a break up that devastated them

I don't really know but i think it's just when Someone lives a lonely life full of lies and all the things the song say but simpley a Sh*t-like life even death is better than it -_-
Wyoming got it in my opinion, but I thik it can apply to someone who has died or someone that's just gone. I personally relate it to a recent breakup that still screws with me. I actually saw a music video using scenes from the film The Lazarus Project with Paul Walker. Amazing video and I feel it captures what the song means perfectly.

When I hear this song , i think about my best friend. he died nine years ago.
He was my real big love but it was to late to tell him.

Personally, I think the meaning of this song is different for everyone. When I hear this song, I think of someone metaphorically slipping away from or losing another person and being alone with only themselves. They feel trapped with the lies they've told and feel like there's no point to life. After they've lost this other person, they realize how awful a place the world really is and they really don't know how to go on without them. They wonder if the other person feels the way they do and if they are in as much pain as the other. The person doesn't understand why this has happened to them and they feel older than they really are and they regret what they've done and they just want the other person back. They are losing their mind without them and they don't know what to do.

It means that when the world is against you and you feel like you don't belong and that you're not in with everybody else, that you feel weak and old and from a different planet. That's what I think. ^^' Idk though.
World So Cold could be seen as being left by your boyfriend or girlfriend, but it is really about someone you love dying.
its about having a loved one in your life and u lose them and its the feeling u get when they leave u
I thinkk that it meaning is about losing someone very close to you like a parent, friend or something. The part of "I'm too young to feel this old" most likely means losing a loved one at a very young age or the song is about someone leaving you for a long period when you are young. And you have no way of knowing how they're doing. Most likely it'll become a single but I won't tell you why.

I think it's a view of how someone feels when a close loved one dies... cold, empty, alone... kind of feel like a zombie and in shock from it. Seems like it's someone who passes that is a parent - "I'm too young to feel this old" - not ready to let go yet.
Just my opinion.
