Where were you when you first heard Three Days Grace???
Where were you when you first heard Three Days Grace? I remember it very well. It was somewhere between 3 and 5 AM in the morning at an apartment in Searcy, Arkansas. I was living with my aunt because my parents were going through a really bad divorce and it couldn't have been a better time to hear them.
The video for "Just Like You" came on VH1 and I remember thinking how awesome the band was and how much I related to that song. The video was incredible, too. The song and video managed to cram in all the suppressed emotions and words I wanted to get through to all the people around me doing me harm. Now, I'm very thankful that I had insomnia to the point where I was up that early to see that video. Three Days Grace has continued to bring joy and inspiration to my life since. Thanks 3dg
What about everyone else? I would love to hear your awesome stories! Lol.

Try to make it through my life, in my way
As I read through the forum, I've noticed that a lot of people were/are into Linkin Park along with Three Days Grace. That's how it was for me, though. Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands. They were my all-time obsessive favorite until I discovered Three Days Grace. I just think it's kool that others like the same bands.

First heard them in 2006, Are You Ready on Raise Your Voice. As soon as the movie was finished, I went on itunes and downloaded the first album and loved it. Luckily for me, One X was being released like a week after I first heard them, so I just had to wait a week and got a whole new album to listen to =)
I was generally in the same place as I am now. My house in Ottawa, Ontario. The difference is back then I didn't have my laptop so I heard it on my desktop.
I was randomly running through youtube videos (At the time I was big on Linkin Park, it was my favorite band.) and at a certain point I got a related video link to Animal I Have Become. I coulda just skipped over it to the next good linkin park song, but then I just got a feeling that I should listen to Animal I Have Become. I can't tell you what made me listen, but I can tell you since then I was hooked. It did not take long at all for Three Days Grace to take LPs place as my favorite band! Since then I have been checking out new bands every so often and I found so new ones like Disturbed, breaking benjamin and eventually I started listening to a large variety of hard rock, but in the end no band ever could top Three Days Grace as my favorite.
my friend told me about Are You Ready in 2007 i think
i loved it then she told me about Riot and Pain
after that i started telling her about their songs. haha
i heard it from youtube, too. It was Home on a Kingdom Hearts video. but I heard I Don't Care a long time before that.

my brother was listening three days grace and i liked the song, that he have heard. so i wanted to hear the other songs from three days grace.
I was playing Nascar Thunder 2004 and I Hate Everything About You came on. Then I made my friend by the self-titled cd and fell in love with 3DG. I remember going through Just Like You and IHEAY like a million times before I listened to anything else. Ironically, the last song I listened to/learned was Burn...
I was listening to one of the rock stations in the car when I heard I Hate Everything About You. That was a long time ago, I was just about to get out of the fourth grade.
