I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
...These guys are amazing musicians, Canadian ♥ and very down to earth people and relatable.
I still remember the first time i saw "i hate everything about you' on much music andi dont know what it was but i felt some sort of connection to the band and music right then and there. It also helped me realize that the relationship i was in at that time was literally what the song was about. (that damaging relationship has been over for about 5 years now and have been with the most amazing man io have evern met and plan of getting married within the next year
)
I also have depression and even though some of the songs seem depressing, its almost an 'ok ' to know you feel ike that but arnt alone. that gave me alot of strenght in a really s***ty time. It gave me a reason to rock out, get my agression out, enjoy some amazing music and talent and even though i'd never met the band, that much more connection with them. The video for "Never Too Late" was very home-hitting and I bawled my eyes out cuz i want through a very similar hospital situation portrayed in that video a few years before, but again, it was soothing almost. It helped me realize, as cheesy as it sounds, that even in a really, dark, scary place in your life, there is always a way out, or 'never too late' and that was deffinatly the cherry on top; going though hell and back and having one of my all time favortie bands show that in a video a little while later just reassured me that i was gonna be ok. Even though it's 'only' a song, it gives such a strong message (as all their music does in some way) and an outlet for people that sometime they dont even know they have which is very therapudic as i found out and it makes the music that much better. ♥
I then met some of the guys in a meet and greet in Vancouver fpr their One X tour (i think,wow time goes by fast! .. although i dont know where Bradwas) I thought it was soo weird only because meeting Adam and Neil were so down to earth (which isnt weird, just cool to know it for sure
) and Adam reminded me of my boyfriend so much that i think i told him, lol. Very easy guys to talk to and really, really sweet. I 'met' Barry the night before after their first concert in vancouver (back to back shows) when i was in downtown with one of my friends and was walking down the street and out came Barry from the Roxy and had a smoke with him (when i still did) down the street before everyone realized who he was, so we decided to give him a break and leave, lol.
And THAT is why I'm a Three Days Grace Fan! ♥
*Keep Rocking Hard Guys ~ LOVE IT!*
