it kind of went like this:
"mom, why are you embarrassed of me?"

"hi my daughters a phsyco and dresses all in black and makes bad decisions and colors her hair funny colors. how can i not be embarrased?" (she said those exact words. i'm not making anything up)

"i'm not wearing black today. i'm wearing gray."

-no comment-

-get up and walk away-

so then last night i tried to talk to my dad again. and i asked him if he was embarrased of me. he answered "what? of course not. i love you and i am not embarrased of you." (dad is cool. he is my best buddy most of the time cause mom is too wierd) so i started to try to tell him about how mom is embarrased of me. he was all "you just need to figure out who you are cause you are going through a very difficult stage right now" (that was the part where i got frusterated cause i have heard that line so many times its not even funny) so thats when i said "i know who i am and mom just can't accept that." and dad said "this is not who you are. jeez!" and turned back to the computer cause he was doing something for work again. so then i went upstairs and cried myself to sleep again. dad doesn't understand either. =*(
