3DG songs aren't depressing... D: Do you agree?
It was all started when my friend sent me a song called The Best Thing by Savage Garden and yeah it's a pop song and I don't really like it much and she said I've listened depressing songs too much and said all 3DG songs are depressing. I didn't find depressing at all. I mean is it wrong to relate the songs to my life? She said if I listening to it too much will remind me what I have gone through and it makes me unhappy? For me is like something getting out from my chest y'know. Well I know that she won't understand most probably because she hasn't taste what I've gone through. I mean hell every people have different taste of music and don't try to say something negative about 3DG because apparently 3DG saved my life and changed the way of my thinking and look life in different way. She said all 3DG songs are negative and put too much anger and never talk about something postive. And I was like what the hell ? I can't deny that there are anger in self-titles album because I mean that's how they express their anger by writing songs right? Most of the songs are positive especially Never Too Late. Their songs are totally telling us never give up in life and I had read their lyrics like thousand times than her. I remember she told me to stop playing Never Too Late and said it's depressing and I was wtf? I mean I love 3DG so much and I don't wanna manipulated by her and start dislike 3DG... NO! I feel like their songs are totally connected to my heart. 3DG especially Adam told all of us to get everything out from your chest and deal problems in healthy way y'know. I stopped talking to her when she started to say something a little bad about 3DG. I'm pretty pissed off right now. X( She even told me that listening to alternative metal songs can affect our mind other sorts of bullcraps. I mean I'm a rocker since I was kid of course I love rock so much!
She said that I will know in few years time... I am afraid to lose my love for 3DG!!! DX I don't wanna listen those useless pop songs!!! DX And yeah I even told her that 3DG is not a fe**ing emo. T__T
And also I wanna keep on rockin'!!! \m/ *headbang*

It does and I keep the songs and listening to it as a memory and also life experience... In my opinion, people who think it's depressing never understand the real pain and hardship in life...
Dude,all I can say is:most of 3DG songs talk about the bad things in life and how u should not care about it(like last to know)and never give up.so I think it's not about negative or positive but it's about how to get through life and the bad things.
Like right now all my friendz don't even like 3DG they just like pop,rap and all that sh*t,and every time I play a song they tell to stop it but I just put on my headphones and tell them to bite me or screw off!!! Anyone who agree please message me to know ur opinunes

I think,
those who understand the songs, knows that they are not depressed. the band discribe many hard situations in real life, with alll the feelings, the pain and something and they show a way out of the
" depressed thoughts ".

@Carly311 Wolf's rain is just an anime series (with manga books, I'm guessing). I've seen a few scenes of it on youtube and did some research.....I heard it was really good......I thought you know something about it, that's all.

Dude, what you're saying makes absolutely perfect sense. All of their songs give everyone a different message that means something to them. Their songs are not depressing, but in a sense, they can bring back sad memories or certain times in your life. It's that very power of their songs that makes me love them so much. Don't listen to anything anyone tells you about your sense in music. Music is a feeling; trust it, hold on to it, and don't let it go.
I agree. Three Days Grace's lyrics are so deep and I love the message in it. It isn't depressing at all, they just show the real life in their songs and it contain a bunch of powerful emotions. They're awesome and my friends won't change my mind about this ^_^
