Fan Club
Is anyone here a member of the fan club? I joined their One-X fan club before that album came out. Do you guys think the current one http://www.3dgfanclub.com/ will change once "Life Starts Now" starts getting promoted? Because I really want to join, but am unsure cause Im afraid the moment I do they'll have a different one for this album. Or is this fan club just the main one in general?
I'm probably confusing everyone lol but any help would be really appreciated! : )

it was pretty expensive. the shipping was $10 here in the US. probably a heck of a lot more internationally...nike shoes new
I was a member...but its only good for one year...and thats done now..I still have one more Code from buying VIp tickets back in 2007 so once I know there coming to the Peg' i'm going to re-sign up.

AAAH. A place to voice my opinion...
Yes, I joined the fan club almost a year and a half ago. I'm pretty disappointed - first, it's the LAST place to get updated... for $40 a year, I think it should be the FIRST thing that's updated. Hell, I get info on Myspace almost a week before it's posted to 3dgfanclub.com. Then, the picture player thing doesn't work well - I thought it was just my computer, but nope - bought a new computer and same thing. The only cool thing about it is the videos, and the fact I can go to the meet and greets - but they haven't even been on tour since I joined, so that doesn't matter - I'll have to renew anyway and then wait until they come somewhere near me to go see them (nearest place is about 3.5 hours away).
Right now, until someone takes initiative at the fan club, it's really not worth it. Wait until they announce a tour and then sign up, because that's about the only benefit you get - the meet and greets.

Mmmm.. i´d like to join the Fan Club....If i were any closer to Canada or the Us i wouldnt hesitate on joining... but honestly, i´m worried about the shipping price... i mean, for me to join is already expensive... but the shipping will cost a fortune! won´t it? If they come to Agr i will probably join... till then, i have no idea... i´ll keep on saving

Only annoying thing is that you have to renew every year, which means you have to pay more than once :/
Oh this makes a lot more sense now. I was on the One-X street team, not the fan club. LOL
I'm gonna join the fan club though. Getting meet and greet and pre sales has done me in! haha

I just joined in March though, so there hasn't been much going on. Like the others said though, there'll probably be more going on coming up with this new album release. I'm hoping that they'll have a presale package for the album and more contests. I'd say it's worth the money though.
A fan club and street team are different. The one x club was there just to promote one x (which is why it closed after one x had been out a while} The fanclub is supposed to be for stuff like meet and greets and stuff...Honestly its not very good right now, but I'm sure when the new album comes out it will get a lot better. They have contests ocasionally, and i'm assuming they will have meet and greets and presales.
So yeah its worth it, but the street team was much better.
Sorry this probably made no sense.

lol i understood, don't worry. the fanclub, like the 3dgfanclub, i'm part of it, has stayed the same. they said they're working on a new welcome package or whatever, but if you buy it now, it wont make you renew your membership once they change it. bascially they've just been doing random updates, pretty much the same ones that are here. but it has pretty cool features, like contest where you win signed stuff, and videos from the band. its worth buying for sure.
