I've been a Three Days Grace fan for about a year now. I'm from the UK and they're not really all that big over here. But I first heard them from my friend, Bethany.
Beth was an amazing girl, who I loved with all my heart. She sent me the song 'Are You Ready' and I loved it. It was the first Three Days Grace song I ever heard. But Beth was hiding something. Her father abused her, and treat her terribly. So she decided to commit suicide. She sent me an email just before she did, and by the time I read it, it was too late. She was gone. In this email, she told me to listen to a song called 'Never Too Late' by Three Days Grace. She said if I heard this song, I'd understand why she had to do what she did.
And so I listened to the song, and loved it. To this day, I still cry when I hear it. And then when I saw the video...It was as if they were telling Beth's story. I have the video on my myspace and have urged people to watch it, just for the significant meaning it portrays.
And since then, Three Days Grace have been my favourite band. All of their songs have meaning in my life in some way, the main ones being Never Too Late, Over and Over, One X and Wake Up. But each and every song I can relate to my life, and this is why I'm a Three Days Grace fan.
R.I.P. Bethany Walker, it's been a year and the pain is still here.
