Tour Diary - Week 5
What's happenin all? Well, I'm back for my fifth tour diary entry. Glad to have you with me.
I'm sitting on a small puddle jumping plane on my way back to Toronto for a couple days off at home. I just thought I'd take this opportunity to fill you in on all the things that have happened over the last couple months.
We've been on tour for about three and a half months, some shows with Nickelback, and some shows with Staind. The shows have been amazing, so thanks to all of you have come out and supported the band along this tour.
So just a couple days ago, we shot the video for our second single from One X, "Pain". This time around we worked with director Tony Petrossian (Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Bullet For My Valentine, Etc..) Tony was great to work with. He had an incredible vision, and I really believe that when you guys see this video, you might agree, it's our best yet....but we'll just have to wait and see...
On another note, let me fill you guys in on something else that's going on within the Three Days Grace camp. I'm not sure if you've heard, but we've started a tour of our own, completely separate from the "powered" live shows that we're doing with Staind. It's called the "Three Days of Change" tour. If you haven't heard about it yet, you're probably wondering what I'm talking about. Well, we're doing small, intimate acoustic shows at select rehabilitation, treatment, and youth centers in America. Why? Well, because I believe it's time for us to give back to a community that, in so few words, saved my life. About a year and a half ago, we, as a band, decided that it was time to take care of ourselves, and fight off any "inner demons" that we had, so we did. It definitely turned our lives around, and made me who I am today.
So the first "Three Days of Change" show we did was at Cirque Lodge in Utah. It was absolutely an incredible experience, for me, for the band, and for the people that were there to watch. It was an intimate acoustic show, followed by an all out, no holds barred, question and answer period with myself. It was a great chance for me to share what I've been through over the last few years, and for the people at the rehab center to see that turning your life around is possible, and having success at what you want to is also possible. I want to thank everyone who was at the Cirque Lodge that day. It was a changing day in my life, and I was proud to be a part of it.
Keep your eyes on the "Three Days of Change" tour. Hopefully we will be stopping by a town or city close to yours soon.

inner demons
belive or not everyone has inner demons for that reason there are such things as angry and hate even someone who seems happy and popular of couse alot of people aren't strong enough to fight it off and end up becoming the thing they hate even me i the type of person doesn't like fighting i ended up beating up a guy in grade 6 and well he was somewhat scared of me after that what i'm trying to say is DON'T GIVE UP and there r alot of people who can relate to you so don't think your alone

Hi adam, I just had to tell you that I love this album....all of it! It really pulled me through a really rough time in my life last year. I listened to it constantly through out my deep depression. Because I could hear it in the lyrics....you were there too, at one point. I would listen to Never to late over and over....tryin to tell myself....you can get through it...it helped me. When I felt like no one else knew what I was going through, or how I felt...you did...you were there. I thank you for helping me...for being there when I was at my lowest, and for being brave enough to make this cd. I'm sure there are tons more people that have told you these exact words....you have helped so many. I know I won't stick out to you as something special....because you hear this all the time, but just wanted to share with you that you helped me, and in a weird way, I'm still here because of you. Also...just wanted to say, I think you are soooo hot, so cute! Thanks again for saving me!

You guys are AMAZING!!!I saw you guys in concert and after that i cant stop listening to you guys.I could never get sick of your songs and are amazing to listen to.
Never in a million years would i think i would go to a three days grace concert but i did and im going to another one in state college pa.Im SOO EXCITED!!The songs are amazing to listen to.This is off subject but what is your favorite song on the one x album?

First of all I just want to say, I LUV YOU!!! Ok, you have REALLY helped me turn my own life around with your music so I'd just like to thank you for that. that is sooo cool what you guys are doing for those people in rehab. they desreve it so much after what they've been through. I also agree that you area great role model for those people. you got through an extremely difficult time in your life and look at where it got you! Three Days Grace is now (in my mind) THE best band ever.

i know.... how weird? a crying smiley, but thats just how i felt after hearing about your tour to help all those people. i saw 'behind the pain' a while ago and i have to say, that was one of the most touching things i have ever seen, it actually made me cry. Tears of happiness actually, like the smiley. Everything u have been through and what u did just touched me deeply. You guys are 4 amazing people, bless u and your families. ♥
