Sea of Despair

I stand alone in this darkness
waiting to be found
Pleading with unseen Powers to give me some light
Im surrounded by bitter silence
as friends of old have turned away

Love is long gone
Happiness has been forgotten
All that remains
is sorrow and hate
for a life gone so wrong

I am trapt in a world of eyes so blind and ears so deaf
Nobody hears me scream for help
No one sees as I self-destruct before them
I want to break free from my confinements
but my captors are too strong

My strength has left me
My will to live is fleeing
If you care you'll have to rescue me from this dark despair filled sea
