Well, both my dad and mom are "proper people". In other words, they have their screamo/metal/hardcore limits when it comes to music...and 3DG is sadly not in their attention span. My mom is a Guns N Roses and Scorpians type of person, so she can "stand it" when she's in a good mood, but my dad is a nerd so he doesnt like music period. Except for U2 and Better than Ezra, but that's about it.

well when i my dad listen 2 it he said the same thing; when adam starts singing it ruins the whole song but of course i totally disagreed with him cause he's a GOOD singer and my fave and my mom she couldn't stand it and she it was really depressing

my parents are dead. theyre still alive but they dont deserve to be parents. i dont talk to them. i dont live with them. i just tell people theyre dead. but i dont do it for sympathy. i have 2 friends who are like my parents, but they have never heard of 3dg, and when i let them watch ''just like you'' they said adam was hot. which is annoying nowadays.

my dad doesn't really care, i don't think. he's pretty easy going. i don't think he particularly likes the band, but he's not one to tell me to turn it off cuz it sucks. my mom can't handle loud music, it hurts her head. she needs mellow music... she also gets very hung up on any cussing in music... it's quite funny. there's this song i had her listen to once...i can't remember what it was...but it wasn't tdg and it wasn't very hard, but he cusses in the chorus and she said she didn't like that song. i asked if she'd like it edited and she said maybe...so that has an effect on her. i'm the youngest, so she's afraid of me growing up, so she freaks when my music has cuss words...

she's the one that finally convinced my dad that we needed to their concert.

my dad is not a big fan. he'll listen to them, but it's not his favorite band.

actually, My mom knew Adam before he became famous. well, apparently. so she loves TDG just as much as i do.

well my dad doesn't like it. he listens to christina aguilara (weird i know) and doesn't really like rock like that. my mom though went to my first concert TDG with me since i couldn't drive and she liked it. not like buy the CDs listen to it by myself as i'm driving...more of the its pretty good and i don't have complaints. some songs though she says they have bad messages but others are ok.
i usually use headphones anyways for most of my music haha

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THREE DAYS GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!! but my mom hates it, she hates all rock music. Plus, she thinks that three days grace is teaching me to be mad and angry at her. She doesn't understand that three days grace helped me when I felt alone, She just thinks their causing me to rebel against her.....so, I'm kinda scared that she might try to take the music away from me sometime........BUT EVEN IF SHE DOES I WILL FIND A WAY TO LISTEN TO IT!!!! My parents actualy like them. Well my mum and my step dad....I lost contact with my real "father" thank god. But yeah they realy like them and think they are realy cool. My mum got bored listening to her stuff and started listening to One X and she was just like OMG that is freaking awsome. She thought their first album was awsome but she thinks One X is freaking awsome. So yeah full aproval...They were actualy suprised when I discovered them because they didn't think I would be into their type of music. (well I was like 13) XD

well, my mom thinks the music is crap. and the members are ugly. =[ she skips like all the songs on the CD's except never too late, pain, its all over, animal i have become, and one x.
and my dad, he never wants to take me to a concert. but, we made an deal in a way. he can wear the ugliest outfit he can make and he can take me to a meet and greet. he doesnt mind the music too much. we actually listened to one x 2.5 times yesterday when we were in the car. lol.

oh f***... dont even ask! my mom was like blahblahblah...three days grace blahblahblah... negative effect on your attitude... blahblahblah... i'll trash your iPod and your CDs... blahblahblah.. and then i stopped pretending to listen because she was trying to grab my iPod and CDs. i was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!?" and she f***ing confiscated my iPod and my CDs!!!! i was so mad. she couldn't get me to do anything but scream at her and cry and hurt people and punch things and stuff so she gave them back. i'm that crazy. but seriously! no Three Days Grace = my funeral. she never tried to take them away from me after that. (but she still hates 'em) as for my dad... he thinks their songs have alot of pain in them, but he ironically likes the lyrics for Pain, because of "I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all" since he interpreted it a little differently... he's okay with them and is actually glad i like them for some reason. O_o my stepfather (real mom and real dad hate each other, so i have step-mom on dad's side and step-dad on mom's side) my step-dad thinks the same way as my mom, but he doesnt care "It's your life, not my problem" and my step-mom... well she doesnt even know who they are.
