A tattoo should mean something...
Every tattoo I own (yes, own) means something to me. I believe that's how it should be. My ONE X tattoo means more to me than all the others because I felt connected to something more than just my life. I have always loved the band... I have always loved their music. But I connected more with the album ONE X than any other music I have ever heard in my entire life. Something in their sound... something in their lyrics... something in them... I feel connected on a soulful level. There are things about me I wish I could change. If anyone has ever watched "Dexter" they would have a little insight to what I meant. I feel "disconnected" from the rest of the world. I feel incapable of true love... of true emotion. But I am connected to ONE X. I am still searching for that one person. The one who will save me. (That person may only be myself - and in that case, I may be searching forever) - But I would like to hope that some day, something huge will happen that will change my life forever. Until then, I will always have this connection. This tattoo. This band.

It's nice 2 feel understood! 3DG hit the nail on the head with 1X. my circumstances are different than most. My song is Animal, my "Animal" is a rare combination of illness. I am a 35yr young female and it is no fun to feel caged inside and have rage some days because of it. 3DG relates to many. The music reaches out on so many levels. I made the Nov.3 concert in SC. Dude! just know that I am with you... sometimes the only thing I can do to get through the day mentally is to vent my frustrations through my song as loud as possible! I feel better afterwards. My tattoo is your tatoo, connected by mind instead of body. Rock On with your awesome tat!
