i wrote this a while ago on the post about someone who lost their friend from drunk driving. i just wanted to repost is because i just want ppl to know how i feel about the situation.
I'm so sorry for you loss. i hope the person that killed your friend pays for what they did. Drunk driving is Bull Sh*t. i can't stand it when you see all these ppl on the news after they have been driving drunk saying how sorry they are and how it was an accident. was it an accident when you went to the bar? was it an accident when no one offered to be the designated driver? was it an accident when you stumbled out of the bar completely hammered? was it an accident when you got in your car and put your F*CKING KEYS IN THE IGNITION AND STARTED THE CAR? was it an accident when you put your car in drive, pushed your foot on the gas and started driving, knowing damn well you were in no shape to even walk, let alone drive? was it an accident when you ran that stop sign? was it an accident when you hit that innocent person? NO. IT F*UCKING WASN'T! AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL IT WASN'T! you have no excuse for what you did. you should be the who died. you should be the one to suffer for your ignorance.

i see your point. but i still feel the same way. i'm not sayin that the person should die...like say...in jail or at a different time. i'm sayin that he should have died in the crash. to me that makes a big diff.

The person that did the drunk driving shouldn't die just stop drinking for good!!! You shouldn't say that you want somone dead even though it may make you feel better if they did. But a most sertatly agree that it wasn't a mistake that they went in a bar and they got drunk and that they knew that they shouldn't be even driving at all!

i don't agree. if they are too ignorant to realize their own ignorance then they should be punished. it's sad how most ppl just get a frikkin slap on the wrist. do ppl realize that they killed someone? they should pay for what they did.
I think you're true that drunk driving isn't just an accident!
However, I also think that you shouldn't wish that something bad happens to another person because he/she acts unjustly. Maybe they are too stupid to realize what they do and you can't blame somebody for being stupid. There are people who never learn that their actions do have consequences.
