no i am not over- reacting. i will give u the low down of what happened last night...

ECONOLINE CRUSH was the opening band. no they're not new. they broke up back in '00 but got back again last year. they're my new favorite band after the show we went up to them and ask for signatures on the poster we bought. they all signed it, and SCOTT, the bassist, remembered me from the show!! he was right in front of us (we were by the railings once again, so we were up close to the artists). he was like "were u the one up front?" i was like "yes!" then he said "yeah, you were like \m/ (that hand sign)" then i said "oh. yeah!!! \m/" hehe. that was cool, i love him

SEETHER was super amazing! my ears nearly popped off because they played so loud (not that i'm complaining, the guitar riffs were awesome!). they played BROKEN with BARRY and ADAM from THREE DAYS GRACE! hehe it was a great performance. they played FAKE IT, of course, but they played REMEDY last which is where i totally lost it and just went nuts... it's sad that not a lot of people knew REMEDY. shame, shame, shame on them....unlike me because i'm cool! hehe.

THREE DAYS GRACE, of course, rocked the house down! they were a-MA-zing as always. they never fail to outperform their previous concert performances (i've seen) here in calgary. before THREE DAYS GRACE performed, i was being annoyed by this woman in her 30/40's who pretty much took over my good spot. she even tried to shove my sister on the side to get her spot, but we managed to get the fat lady out of the way. i was sooo pissed off at her that i kinda went off like CRAZY when THREE DAYS GRACE came out. from the time they started performing till the end i was shouting the lyrics OUT LOUD by her ear. they perfromed 14 SONGS (i checked my song list. hehe) and i sang along - SHOUTED ALONG - to 13 out of 14 songs (merely because the other one was ADAM'S personal fave and it was a song from ALICE IN CHAINS, and i didn't know the entire song...oops). i was jumping up and down and hitting her all the time and i didn't bother apologizing. hey, i don't care i'm in a freakin' concert, and she stole my spot and was playing the age card (and even the race card) since the concert started, so expect me spitting on your ear!!! (before THREE DAYS GRACE came out she was being "nice" to my sister telling her to "prepare for the worst once THREE DAYS GRACE starts playing"...HELLO?! we've been to their TWO previous concerts here in calgary! i can handle THREE DAYS GRACE, can you?!). thus, she got served (lol, i love saying that).

so back to THREE DAYS GRACE (i got carried away for a second there), they were awesome and they ended the night with HOME. ADAM also did the thing with the lights again and it's always fun to play with that.

AFTER THE CONCERT, my sister and i managed to get our very own THREE DAYS GRACE GUITAR PICK!!! we deserved it! we also got the chance to ask one of the guys on stage to grab us a copy of the song list - and he gave us one!! see, BEST 3DG CONCERT EVER!

OMG my sister and i had sooo much fun! it was just insane! i'm still amazed by the whole event, really. i mean, given the fact that i lost my voice today, and my head is still hurting like hell, it is all worth it

ANYWAY, to sum it up, I HAD A f***ING GREAT TIME! i would love to see THREE DAYS GRACE again, but they're going back to the studio after this tour is over... maybe next year

ECONOLINE CRUSH will be back in calgary on FEB14TH though, so i'll definitely be there (i don't have a date anyway). besides, they know me now, it'll be fun chatting with them again
