I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
their music with their dark lyrics really inspires me. While most of my classmates at school do what the teacher asks, I prefer to waste my time daydreaming about demons. I don't think of demons as creatures born of hellfire... actually I made up a completely new creature using only my imagination and inspiration from music... often those songs are about shadowed experiences, and these guys have plenty of those. I make up storylines for the demons in my mind and dream about writing books about it. It would be easier if I paid attention in class, but I'm me, and that's just impossible for me to do...
Also, I know plenty of people who hate me, too, and some (small) experiences I'd rather not talk about either... I don't have much musical talent myself except that I'm learning to play accoustic guitar. I really admire Three Days Grace. I'm amazed at their guts and courage, along with all that talent and skills, to just put all their pain and feelings into music, then go and sing it out loud in front of thousands of fans.
I love their music, because it actually sounds like they ripped open their human-bodies and exposed their soul and all its pains, fears, emotions, feelings, --everything. It's like letting out all those aspects of yourself in your music. I could never build up enough courage to show myself in that way, but you bet, I'll try... as soon as I can play the guitar properly (I'm really not very good), find people who're willing to work with me, maybe create a small (really small), infamous (unknown) band. I won't give up trying to write about demons either, but that could be even harder... oh well. But if I could write a book, maybe lyrics shouldn't be THAT hard... no, just hard. hard but possible.
