I heard a rumor that it might come out in the fall this yr (along with BT) but I dunno if that's true. I was a bit surprised to hear that it would be that soon after the past release with the tours and all but who knows :S

well 2009 does make it 3 years.....i guess that's just their rythm...3 years between every album. 2003, 2006, and now probably 2009.

there has been so many threads asking the same question.
and the answer is no not soon.. the band is going off there tour soon and then probably having a break before they finish up the album.. the new album is most probably coming out in 2009
i dunno for sure but i'm guessing
