I'm a fan (and you should be too) because a band with substance doesn't surface too often in music anymore. Three Days Grace has proven otherwise and they definitely stand above the crowd as one of the most genuine and authentic bands for our generation. A true fan attentively listens to the lyrics. Every track is analyzed back to back. When it's all said and done, the fan is left with an insight into the minds of the band members. Some of us come to the realization that Adam just screamed the very words that were locked inside our heads for months or years. Thoughts that had led us into despair and confusion. Thoughts we believed no one else felt nor understood. I stumbled across One-X when searching for a rock group that would connect with me. I needed a venue through which to escape from my volatile life. I chose to do that through music. When I listen to this album, I get lost in Adam's powerful voice, the heavy drum beats and the crazy guitar chords. I don't need to attend a concert to be truly entertained by Three Days Grace. I'm left with that feeling every time the CD is popped in to play. When a band is not what they appear to be, the fans see right through them. In this case, the music speaks for itself and stands firm to win over any skeptic. As a true fan, I appreciate their talent and can't imagine the music industry without them. Maybe, I might get the opportunity to say that to them, face to face...one graceful day.
