I'm not sure what show "deafnow" was at but, I think he may be looking waaaay too hard to find something to complain about. I thought all 4 bands did well.

Although Skillet started 10 minutes early and was cleared off stage by 7:20 and we only got to check out one full song because we were trapped in the quagmire that was the merch table.

Seether came out and tore it down as expected, the sound for both Skillet and Seether was good, it was very low-end heavy. ( I know, most headliners do that to them so that they sound that much better when they come out). Overall it was listenable though.

Then Breaking Benjamin came out and the sound cleared up a bit more and they owned the crowd.
A cool moment was when there were memebers of 3DG, BB and Seether all jammin on stage.

Then 3DG hit the stage with "Animal I Have Become" and proceeded (with great sound I might add) to own the crowd. The highlight for me was the closer "Home" as they wentinto Filter's "Hey Man Nice Shot".

And BTW, this was my first time at the US Cellular Coliseum, I would recommend the joint to see aa show...mid-sized and even the "horseshoe bend" of the place it was great viewing.

I was also at this show last night in Bloomington, IL. The show was KICKASS, as expected, just like I thought was it would be, but more so. To go off a comment from the first reviewer of this show. Barry was setting the mood the next with the extensive 2 string picking last night. How do you know if was off pitch?? Maybe that's what Barry was going for?? I agree it was a little harsh at times, but what are you gonna do. Just grit and bear it. As for the ending the show, that my friend, was PURE FEEDBACK from the guitar. I don't know if you noticed it, but both Sean from Seether and Aaron from Breaking Benjamin did the same thing at the end of their sets. Everyone's ramped and pumped up rockin out to the killer show, and people do things sometimes. Remember this, everyone has methods to their madness.

All the bands were f***ing awesome!!!! INTENSE!!!!!!! that's all I got to say about it. Sticking out tongue

Most of this show in Bloomington was fine. The first three bands were good, and 3DG played some hits. But the ending by their guitar player RUINED it. GOD, MAN, don't you know better than to sit for two solid minutes blaring the equivalent of two off-pitched air horns at the audience?!?!!?! The lead guitarist just went up and alternately picked two high-pitched (and off-pitch) notes for two solid minutes. It was nothing short of PAINFUL. I like a good, loud concert. I go to a lot of them. But this was nothing short of abusive. I'm a guitarist myself - this was bad. Any guitar player should know better than that.

As if it weren't bad enough, there was some crappy noise after the last song that lasted about 15 seconds. Not even sure what that was, but it wasn't anything "musical". Almost like the sound board didn't know the show was over.

Besides that awful experience that now, 5 hours later, still HURTS, the show was pretty good. Just hard to remember any of the good points after that.
