I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Three Days Grace is not just another band or hot to some people. You have to look past the physical features/ the rockband stereotypes and into the music. You have to listen to the lyrics, you have to understand the meanings of the song, you have to listen to why a certain song is the way it is. Three Days Grace has amazing lyrics and amazing riffs and just amazing all a round. I'm a fan because I remember listening to the radio when I got home from school just to hear "I Hate Everything About You" come on the radio. I remember buying both of the albums and listening non-stop until I could nearly receit every lyric to both albums. I also remember my mom getting on to me for not playing something else on my stereo. But most of all I remember begging, pretty much on my hands and knees, to my mom trying to convince her to let me go see Three Days Grace in Perry Georgia at the Georgia National Fair this past Saturday. I remember the joy I felt when she finally said 'Yeah, sure, fine you can go.'. Then I remember shaking in my seat and nearly killing my friends' eardrums as the band ran out on stage. I still hate the fact that there were chairs in my way but I didn't care. All that mattered was I was finally seeing a band I waited so long to see, and I was right there with my two best friends screaming, jumping around, and having a grand ole time.
I'm only 14 years old yet I still see through the stereotypes and physical features. I see into the band and the lyrics and the meanings. To me that is a true fan but not to other people. Which ever it is, I think that everyone is a fan, just some more then other. You just have to respect the bands and all it's fans. I you don't then you not a true fan. You have to see that in some way, your just like the band. The band are regular people who followed there dreams and became the Three Days Grace as we all love and know it today. You have to love the music and you have to help the band in anyway possible. You have to be there for the band in any and every way possible. No matter what.
That was so worth it.......
I have waited Five and a half years to see Three Days Grace and on Saturday I finally saw them. And it was so worth those years. I had a friken sweet time. Being totally honest, my throat still hurts from screaming my butt off and my legs hurt from jumping up and down to almost every song. I have been to a couple other concerts before but I have to say this one is totally in the top two. I can't wait to see 3DG again but this time there's two things: 1. I'm totally gonna bring my Mom. Yeah that's right my Mom.
and 2. Hopefully there won't be an chairs in my way.
