My abnormality aside, lets try and answer this question.....
Well, I first heard 3DG one day while watching music videos, and "Just Like You" just so happened to come on the tele. I saw the people in masks and was like WTF?? Then I heard the beginning guitar and went, dude, this sounds cool... I heard Adam sing and the rest of the band play and I bought the CD right away (hey, I rhymed
) .
But I didn't become a real fan till One-X because I don't think I was quite old enough yet to really get the lyrics on the debut when it came out. (I actually put the debut in the back of my cd case *gasp* and then listened to it after some time went by, thinking, "why on earth did I ever put this back here?? This rocks")
Anywho, after I finally got One-X (I had tried to buy it the week before, thinking it was going to be in stores then) I looked at the back at the little print that said:
and decided, what the heck, I'll go to the site. Somehow, I found Adam's Tour Diaries and got a major kick out of them. I thought they were funny and I liked his personality, so I started to look into the band more.
Eventually, that led up to me killing time in homeroom one day at school and seeing a tour date near me on their website. I called my dad that day...very last minute (the concert was that Saturday!) and somehow my sister, dad, a friend of mine, and me ended up going to their concert. At first I was miserable because of some of the other fans there, but as soon as 3DG came up on stage, I could really care less what they thought of me! By the end of that concert I was screaming and jumping so much that I couldn't bend my legs afterwards and I lost my breath while trying to sing along to "I Hate Everything About You." I was a hooked, hard-core 3DG fan by the end of that concert.
You know what totally sucked though?? I had to go to school that Monday and try to write poetry! Usually I like writing, but I really didn't feel like it that day....(If I had a shirt that said "I'd rather be at a Three Days Grace concert", I would've worn it)...my entire next week was absolutely the most boring time of my life...
Oh, and another thing happened before I went to my 1st concert...I had been listening to One-X pretty much every day after I got it, but it wasn't till I was in the van on our way to church one Sunday that something kinda life-changing in a sort happened. Now, I like to draw, and I have characters that I draw. There were two of them that I was going nowhere with and was pondering what the heck I was gonna do with them. I was getting to the end of "Over and Over" and I had already decided to make them a couple, so I was thinking of ideas as the song played (Ok, not very special)...then, just as we were pulling into the driveway of our church, "Time of Dying" came up and inspiration hit me like a freight train. Idea after idea came poaring in for a storyline and sadly, I had to turn off the CD player....Everything the pastor said that day was muffled to my ears because of my own voice screaming out ideas in my head. I went home and began drawing picture after picture while listening to that song. I know now that the real meaning of the song is definitely different than what I was drawing from it, but still...it gave me inspiration and sorta "kick-started" my art. So to Adam, Barry, Brad, and Neil...Muchas Gracias!
Now, if you've actually made your way this far down my "novel" I say, "Congrats to you!" You now have permission to bake yourself a hero cookie for surviving that.
As you can obviously see, I have more than one reason why I'm a fan of Three Days Grace....and I still didn't mension every one of them...but I'll let you do that exploring for yourself. Have a rockin' day!!
Peace,
motobam2

Wow I'm pathetic....
I just went down the line and put 5/5 for each song ^_^....I just can't pick one I like the most!!! (man, would I be a horrible critic)...
