but somehow you feel

lagging behind the clouds
drifting through fog
that has been neglected by day
cared for by night
felt only by those who
appreciate life's simplicities
we walk, we breath

yet when the moon shines
and stars appear as if on cue
the clouds disappear behind the sky
while i silently wish
