As a longtime fan of 3DG and Breaking Benjamin, and new to Flyleaf, I drove 3 hours to see and meet the band in Estero Fl. Upon arriving to the venue and parking in an open spot, we ventured out to stand by the tour buses in hopes of catching some of the bandmates to get pics and autographs. We had caught Adam and Barry and 3 of Flyleaf for casual conversation and some autographs, we were RUDELY told we could not be in the parking lot, or ask or call any of the bandmates for signatures. We also were THREATENED with expulsion from the venue grounds and or arrested for the crime of calling out to the band. It seemed to us that the initiator of this policy was a person who worked for this tour. Not sure exactly which band he was involved with, either BB or 3DG. The rules seemed to change as the minutes wore on, 1st we had to move back from the fencing area (about 30') and then subsequenntly told we had to either go back to our vehicles, leave the premises, or go inside. This all happening in a matter of about 10 minutes. Then venue security told us we could not ask for autographs BEFORE the show started. By now I was so p'd off I went and sold my tickets to the show. I will not support a band that treats its fans IGNORANTLY. Then we were told we could come back after the show ended and wait out in said parking lot again for signatures. We saw PAT from FLYLEAF whereas he calmly came over and signed for about 10 people with NO PROBLEMS, and even took pics with everyone. A lady who was there with 2 of her children who were about 10-12 yrs old, attending their very 1st concert, were also waiting to catch the bandmates for autographs and pics along with 4 other people for a total of 7 fans waiting. Well Mr tour manager? Security Extrordinaire? came over, 25 minutes after the show ended, and still obviously many people still left in the parking area and VERBALLY and RUDELY treated everyone in the area as UNWANTED. We were threatened with arrest if we did not leave IMMEDIATELY. As a PAYING FAN and CUSTOMER you have just lost at least 7 fans there and obviously you do not care about your fans. The spanish dude who was band security or manager was extremely rude to the few fans who were told by VENUE security to wait patiently in the parking lot 3 car spaces back. When we told this person that all of us had been told by the GERMAIN ARENA security to wait in the said spot he accused of all of lying. Well for now on I will NEVER BUY or LISTEN to any music by ALL 3 BANDS due to the TREATMENT of 1 said a**hole. You know who you are SPANISH SECURITY DUDE!

I don't get much spare time... Full time mom, student, and worker... remember??? I just get one here on my days off... Sometimes... If I"m not doing homework... Which I actually just finished a logic paper.. Haha. Anyway... It's been a while since I"ve been able to get on the site... Busy at work and I"m trying to transfer from a 2 year to a 4 year college... Yippeee....Anyway, I couldn't believe how disrespectful this person is being to one of the most amazing bands in the world....

Dude, seriously... are you 7 years old or something? Just because one guy had issues with you bothering the bands, you don't want to listen to them? That's dedication... If you were a TRUE fan, it wouldn't matter how someone else had treated you. THat has nothing to do with the band. You don't know their situation even... Maybe you should think... Have you ever thought that maybe the bands had been threatened or something like that? You can't get pissed about a situation until you what all is completely going on.
Man, you are just being completely immature about the whole situation. It was the security guy who told you to leave. Not Three Days Grace. So I don't see why you refuse to support them anymore because none of this is their fault. And the security guy was just doing his job. Your comment has made me seriously angry cause an awesome band like 3DG shouldn't be blamed for the actions of one person. And btw, on your profile it says you've been a member since 27 of February........ The same day you made this post. So I'm guessing you joined this site just so you could hive out about 3DG. That is pathetic.

I have actually worked with the band in the past and know that, not only are they a GREAT band, but super cool guys to boot. Nobody works harder for their fans.
@ DaleC... if you dont have any plans on listening to their music WHY THE f*** DID YOU MAKE AN ACCT?! god.. waste of time.. This is a FAN SITE not a trashing site! By the way what does the security guard have to do with TDG besides guarding them at a concert? Get over it! Just because you had a "bad" experience with the security guard doesn't mean you have to stop listening to them or what ever!

You like music for the music, not for the people employed by the bands that make the music. I think I know exactly who you're referring to, and he's actually a really good guy, good at his job, and very nice, maybe a bit stressed out sometimes. You don't know the circumstances of what was going on with the band or with their management that day. And honestly, his job isn't to watch over fans all the time, he's a busy guy. If he wants everyone to leave, then you guys should just leave.
Saying you wont continue listening to or supporting the bands just because of what one guy did is incredibly immature and I just really don't understand it at all. You have every right to be angry at the ONE GUY that pissed you off. One person. Not two bands. You also have the right to complain to the management, and maybe you'll receive an explanation. But the band has absolutely nothing to do with what happened.
I find it extremely pathetic that at eighteen i am clearly more mature than you are at fifty.
Stop being so damn pessimistic and enjoy life. You should have gone to that show, had an awesome time and been grateful that you had the opportunity to meet Flyleaf and half of 3dg.
what does their security have to do with NEVER supporting them again? That's the security problem. NOT TDG or BB or Flyleaf. You said in one of your other posts that you didnt bad mouth them YOU CAME ON THE SITE and thats all you did was b**** about it. As I said before.... security NOT the band. no reason to be an "ex fan" because of security. So you'd also said that you sold your tickets??? well apparently you didn't leave because you said that you were still there 25 minutes after it was over. Nowhere in my post do I trash the bandmates, NOWHERE! Adam and Barry were very approachable and went out of their way to sign for us, and talk to us. I am NOT bad mouthing the BANDMATES but thier management/security. Well what this person did to us OVERIDES the good of the band. So I guess you just want me to keep spending my hard earned $ on 3DG? Breaking Benjamin? I can pretty much for sure say this person worked for the headliner, 3DG and not BB or Flyleaf. I never saw him near Flyleafs bus which was parked by itself away from the other 7 buses. This dude never even went by BB buses, that is my assumption that he solely works for 3DG / or tour management. Sorry but I cannot give my worthy earned $$ to a band who employs a person like this. Would you? I am not a fool, I have made it to the age of 50 by being a good person, and treating people the way I expect to be treated myself. Also I am an ex tour worker myself from many yrs ago, yes I was in the business for 5 yrs as a stage manager, product manager, tech, and business manager. Never in 5 yrs on the road were any of our fans remotely treated in any bad manner, keep the fans happy. So I do know how to treat fans and employees. I have always had the right to ask someone for a pic and they have always had the right to say NO, not now, maybe later, or yes, or just totally ignore me. I understand this, but to receive the treatment we did by this one person was TOTALLY uncalled for and extremely wrong and rude. I will not let this go until I hear back from band management, tour management, record company, or anyone involved with said tour. Just so you know, I have seen 3DG and BB last year with Seether while the 3 toured together, so I'm not a new fan, actually a fan from the very beginning. Last year all 3 bands came outside the venue gates to take pics with all the fans waiting, signed autographs for all the fans waiting, no problem. My friend and I even got free backstage passes for after the show so honestly I do not appreciate it where you said I was bad-mouthing, trashing your employer. Please do bring it to my attention and SHOW ME where I wrote anything bad about any of the band members????????????? All I honestly want is to find out this 1 persons name so I can focus the bad attention to him and write a couple letters explaining this predicament. I can listen to any other band, spend my money on what or who I choose to, but I know it will never be spent on 3DG ever again. Sorry for your loss!!! An EX FAN now, and I know many people in show and music business from my old contacts and I will for sure tell everyone I see or run into about this. Word of mouth does spread very quickly. I am also going to write the band on their facebook and myspace accounts. Hope everyone sees this and comes to their own conclusions...
I still don't understand how this relates to the actual members or music of Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.
Assuming it is one of their managers, he's right, he is in charge of the venue security on the night that his band are playing there.
And I don't really know much about the guys in Breaking Benjamin, but I can guarantee you, Three Days Grace are some of the nicest people I have ever met. And when I say people, I mean out of everyone I know, not just bands I've met. They care so much about their fans and for the past six years or so have ALWAYS come out to meet me before or after shows or gotten me into meet and greets if we aren't allowed by the busses. The first time I met them, I asked for a picture and it came out really blurry. at the end of their little autograph signing table, Adam asked if it had turned out okay and I said no and when security was trying to get him to leave he told them to wait so he could retake it. The security got really pissed at him, but he took another one with me.
They're all such great guys. I can totally understand you being upset at whoever it was telling you to leave, but I can't just read posts with people insulting the band members themselves and not say something back. They care a lot about their fans.
You really should have gone to the show. You like the band for their music, not for an autograph. One stupid guy doesn't change that. Both bands are incredible live, and you would have left much happier if you had stayed.
Sometimes the band just can't meet people after the show. They're regular people and I know that right now they have family down there visiting them. I think it's understandable that they are spending some much needed time with their loved ones.
The security for the venue were fine, but there was 1 guy, hispanic looking, tanned, tattooed, muscular and wearing 3DG tour credentials. This person who seemed to be calling all the shots with Germain Arena venue security told us to leave the general parking lot before the show and also 25 minutes after the show had just ended. The banmdmates were fine, if we called them, they came over, signed autographs, took pics with, and had casual converstaions with us all with NO PROBLEMS until this one tour manager/security personnel so rudely told us we had to move 30' back in a wide open parking lot that had yellow plastic crime scene type tape to partition the band parking lot from the general parking lot. Then he even said we could not CALL or MOTION to the remaining band members for their autographs before the show. The venue security told us that we could not ask for autographs before the show started so we refrained from asking anymore before the show, but by now I was soo upset that I went and sold my ticket to the concert. So I went and sat in my truck and just listened to the radio until Flyleaf had ended their set whereas we were told to come back after. Well Lacey came over and took pics with 3 fans, James came over and signed autographs, Pat came over and signed autographs, NO PROBLEM. I even mentioned to Lacey Mosely of Flyleaf that she used to work for my best friend when she grew up in Temple, Tx. and she knew my friend very well. There were NO PROBLEMS while we stood by the fence separating the 2 parking areas talking to Flyleaf. After this is when a couple more fans started to hang around for the same reasons we were there, to meet some of our favorite bands. Now in all a total of 7 fans waiting patiently as we were told to do, and then all of a sudden the Tour manager/security dude came over, verbally and ignorantly told this one older woman with 2 kids that we all had to leave. The woman was totally shocked and unable to speak other than to say "for real"? The dude asked her why she was in the parking lot? Her response was she was waiting for traffic to ease up because she was low on gas and didnt want to run out while in the exit line. Dude told her that it appeared that traffic had eased up and that her gas problem was not his problem and we all had to leave immemdiately or face police intervention. I personally told this person that VENUE SECURITY had personally told us we could come back after the show for trying to meet and obtain autographs. Well next thing I know this tour manager/security band dude calls me a liar and said no one told us that because he was in charge of the venue people. So we decided to leave and tell him that it was not cool to treat fans that way whereas he said he didnt care about us. Well now its a whole day later, I went to the venue in Tampa to sell my tickets to the Tampa show and saw the same guy back around the buses of the 3 bands so I know he DOES work for either a) 1 of the bands, or b) the TOUR MANAGEMENT. As a parent of an 18 yr old who loves music and spends his hard earned $$ on music, well we both, along with the other 6 people from last night guarantee that we will NEVER support any of 3DG of Breaking Benjamin. Flyleaf were the only REAL people to not be a**holes. I myself earn very good $, support myself and family, and promise that I will NEVER buy, listen, watch 3DG, or Breaking Benjamin. I should not have to vent like this but its a shame that 1 band person can ruin the fun to be had by the 7 of us fans. I am writing a letter to the Record Company and all Companies involved in this tour and all the promotional companies who are backing this tour. Sorry but you have just lost a 50 yr old fan who had no problems buying your cd's, t-shirts, dvd's, but I can GUARANTEE you I will NEVER again spend one cent on these 2 bands. To the dude who treated us so badly I hope you are happy hurting the people you work for. Eat s*** and DIE mf'r...
That guy has absolutely nothing to do with the band, so I don't know why you're taking it out on them.
I know Breaking Ben and 3dg's manager and most of their crew and assistants and everything from the last few years and none of them are hispanic.
I can't speak for Flyleaf, not really a fan so yeah.
The guy was probably venue security trying to do what he was told to do.
And the bands were all nice enough to come out and meet you guys... What exactly did they do wrong?
