I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... everyone has their own ways of expressing themselves. For singers and bands, at least most of them, they express themselves through their music. It's not that I can hear their emotions in the music, but you can FEEL it, if you listen close enough. That's what art is, in it's true form, and that's what 3DG does. That's what music is supposed to be. I can't say they've personally changed my life (my "bad" days ended before I became a devoted fan), but I think everyone can relate to their music, in some way or another. Of course, there's more....

Adam Gontier is an inspirational person, as I'm sure he's been told. Most of the lyrics, particularly the ones on One-X, really hit the nail on the head. And I don't think they're afraid to do that, regardless of the reactin they get. People can say the song 'Pain' is "emo", but if you understand the true meaning behind it, the negative reactions really cease to matter.

Their Live at the Palace DVD was also amazingly awesome, and they are f***ing incredible live. No more to be said there. Although Adam's vocals do seem stressed occasionally, but from what I can tell, they all give it their all to the fans.

I'm sure there's more, but that's why I'm a fan! And that's why you should be too. ^.^ If I haven't convinced you, watch their cover of "Wicked Game", live, and if you aren't completely enchanted by that, then I can't help you. If I ever saw magic once in my life, it was while watching that video for 4 minutes.
